The coup junta is planning to ask for a list of patients admitted to private hospitals and clinics, according the sources close to the military council.
Top coup leaders have asked for the data to send it to the Commander of Eastern Command.

Since last week, the Mandalay Region has been instructed to collect data on patients admitted to private hospitals and clinics, and it has done the same thing in Mon State.



The military council’s move is an attempt to obtain personal information about the wounded and the sick. According to medical ethics, it has no authority to provide patient information, said the doctor.

The military council is preparing to collect a list of patients admitted to private hospitals and clinics nationwide, and now it is prepared to start collecting data in Mandalay Region and Mon State.

The Mon State Health Department, under the military council, said that it has not yet been instructed to collect the data on patients.
